I play clarinet, bass clarinet, and saxophone. My background is primarily classical, but over the past few years I have been exploring a variety of other genres, especially free improvisation, klezmer, and various genre hybrids (rock-classical, jazz-klezmer, etc.) I am currently a regular member of three very different ensembles, and an occasional classical and klezmer freelancer. Information about my groups is below.
SQWONK
My Bass Clarinet Duo with Jeff Anderle. We play
mostly new music, including several of my own compositions and pieces by other young
composers like Ben Gribble and Damon Waitkus.
We also arrange older music, particularly Bach,
but play it in our own sqwonkified way. We have
recently released our first CD, featuring works by Damon Waitkus, Ian Dicke, Jon Russell, and J.S. Bach. More info, audio clips, and CD purchase info at:

EDMUND WELLES
Cornelius Boots' Bass Clarinet Quartet. We play
mostly Cornelius' original tunes, an inimitable
blend of heavy metal, jazz, and classical.
Plus the occasional cover tune.
